Adaptil for dogs 10 tablets
Stress relief tablets for dogs
Adaptil Tablets are a natural ingredients based, non-pheromone calming tool that can be used to support dogs during stressful events and facilitate relaxation. They are available in boxes of 10 and 40 tablets and can be used for short term fast acting stress relief, and be administered as little as 2 hours before the required effect.
Adaptil Tablets have been proven to quickly help improve the signs of fear.
When should I use Adaptil Tablets?
The tablets can be used in anticipation of any predictable short-term occasional challenging events that can be stressful for your dogs such as:
visits to the vet or to the groomer

What is the duration of efficacy of Adaptil® tablets ?
Efficacy studies have proven that Adaptil® Tablets start to be effective from 1 hour after administration, and effects have been measured until 4 hours after administration. However, cases reports from the field confirm a quicker effect in some dogs, and a longer overall effect.
The recommendations for use are the following:
Administer tablet(s) two hours before the beginning of the unusual event (if it is predictable).
Administration might be repeated after 6 hours if necessary.
How long can I give Adaptil® Tablets to my dog?
The objective is to relax the dog in case of occasional stressful events. For dogs needing longer support, another product from the Adaptil® range (Adaptil® diffuser, Adaptil® collar, Adaptil® spray) might be more appropriate.
However, the tolerance of Adaptil® Tablets has been tested at 3 times the recommended dose during 5 days. No side-effect nor any impact on the clinical parameters of the dogs were observed.
Is it possible to use Adaptil® tablets in pregnant and lactating bitches?
We do not have safety data for pregnant or lactating bitches and therefore we do not recommend administration to these animals. Fitting the female dog with an Adaptil® Collar would be a recommended alternative.
