Vetramil is a range that promotes skin healing and helps fight infections in wounds of dogs, cats and horses.

Composition Vetramil:

Vetramil Pad:

  • Honey 20 %
  • Glycerin
  • Water

Vetramil Oitment:

  • Each g of Vetramil contains:
    • Honey 200 mg
    • Vaseline 340 mg
    • Essential oils:
    • Thymus serpyllum 0,5 mg
    • Lavandula angustifolia 0,5 mg
    • Melaleuca quinquenervia 0,5 mg
    • Pogostemon cablin 0,5 mg
    • Ocimum basilicum 0,5 mg
    • Excipients c.s.

Vetramil Spray:

  • Each g of Vetramil contains:
    • Honey 310 mg
    • Propylene Glycol 390 mg
    • Essential oils:
    • Thymus serpyllum 0,5 mg
    • Lavandula angustifolia 0,5 mg
    • Melaleuca quinquenervia 0,5 mg
    • Pogostemon cablin 0,5 mg
    • Ocimum basilicum 0,5 mg
    • Excipients c.s.

Indications for use of Vetramil, specifying the target species:

Vetramil Pad:

  • Aseptic dressing to cover wounds. Vetramil Pad dressing has a non-adherent absorption layer. The inner layer is impregnated with a small amount of liquid based on honey and glycerin, which makes Vetramil Pad slightly moist.
  • Vetramil Pad contains pure honey produced under controlled conditions. This controlled production process ensures that Vetramil Pad dressings do not contain pesticide residues and that the quality is always constant.
  • The coating is permeable to wound fluids, allowing the inner layer of the dressing to absorb them. The coating prevents it from adhering to the wound.

Vetramil Oitment:

  • Vetramil ointment promotes skin healing and fights wound infections.

Vetramil Spray:

  • Vetramil Spray promotes skin healing and fights wound infections.

  • Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to honey.
  • In case of unexpected side effects (not mentioned) after application of Vetramil Pad, contact the competent person and the manufacturer.

Amounts of Vetramil to be administered :

Vetramil Pad:

  • If necessary, clean the wound as usual.
  • Open the wrapper by the mark.
  • Take the gauze out of the wrapper and spread it over the wound.
  • Fix the gauze in the usual way, e.g. with an adhesive tape or a gauze bandage.
  • After a day or two at most, carefully remove the Vetramil Pad dressing and replace it with a new one.

Vetramil Oitment:

  • Previously clean the wound well.
  • Apply the ointment 1-2 times a day until normal appearance is restored.
  • It is recommended to massage the area to favor the penetration of the product.
  • In small or superficial wounds, it is not necessary to cover them.

Vetramil Spray:

  • Previously clean the wound well.
  • Apply the spray 2-3 times a day until normal appearance is restored.
  • In small or superficial wounds, it is not necessary to cover them.
