Comboline spot-on solution for dogs between 10 and 20 kg 1 pipette

Treatment and prevention of flea and tick infestations in dogs

This drug is unauthorized in certain countries
Prescription required* (Exceptions apply)

Comboline acts quickly and by contact, eliminating fleas, ticks and lice present on the skin of your pet, thanks to the unique power of its patented insecticidal / acaricidal molecule, fipronil.

Comboline acts on several points of the nervous system of the parasites (insects and mites), causing a death by nervous hyperexcitation.

After application, Comboline diffuses into the structures of your pet's skin, through the sebum, completely covering the hairs and skin, and is stored in the sebaceous glands where it forms a reservoir.

Regular supply of Comboline is ensured by the continuous secretion of sebum from the sebaceous gland, impregnating the skin and hair and providing a permanent protection for several weeks after its application.

Comboline is resistant to baths and shampoos ensuring maximum durability and protection compared to other products.

Each 1.34 ml Conboline pipette contains:

Active substances:

Fipronil 134.00 mg

(S)-methoprene 120.60 mg

Excipients:

Butylhydroxyanisole (E320) 0.27 mg

Butylhydroxytoluene (E321) 0.13 mg

For the treatment of dogs weighing 10 to 20 kg:

  • Comboline can be used against flea infestations, alone or associated with ticks and/or picking lice.

  • Elimination of fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.) The insecticidal efficacy against new infestations by adult fleas persists for 4 weeks. Prevention of flea multiplication by inhibition of egg development (ovicidal activity) and larvae and pupae (larvicidal activity) originated from eggs laid by adult fleas for six weeks after application.

  • Elimination of ticks (lxodes ricinus, Dermacentor variabilis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus). The veterinary drug has an acaricidal efficacy that persists up to 2 weeks against ticks (based on experimental data).

  • Elimination of chopping lice (Felicola subrostratus). The veterinary drug can be used as part of the treatment strategy for the control of Allergic Dermatitis Fleas (DAP).

Dosage Comboline:

A pipette of 1.34 ml per cat corresponding to the recommended minimum dose of 6.7 mg/kg fipronil and 6 mg/kg of (S)-methoprene, by topical application to the skin.

In the absence of safety studies, the minimum interval of treatment is 4 weeks.

Method of administration:

Hold the pipette upright. Tap the narrow part of the pipette to ensure that the contents are in the main part of the pipette.

Open the tip.

Separate hair from the animal at the base of the neck in front of the shoulder blades until the skin is visible.

Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze the pipette several times until it completely empties its contents directly onto the skin in a single point.
